In simple term it refers to ‘Empty Stomach Cardio Training’

Idea is to do cardio in absence of Insulin or any food processing activity going on in body while you train, In absense of Insulin.

Research shows that “Fasted Cardio” is a unique way to fat loss as fasted state increases both ‘Lipolysis’ and ‘Fat Oxidation’.

Lipolysis is the breaking down of fat cells for energy.

Fat Oxidation is the burning of this energy by fat cells.

30 minutes of fasted cardio would keep the fat oxidation unchanged for 80 to 90 minutes.

It is crucial to have your meal within 30 minutes after workout.

It is good for short term but does not support long term sustainable growth.

Its good for fat loss but also has higher chances of muscle loss too.

Bodybuilders say it helps them alot in building strength and meanwhile get Shredded.
